How do I book a tattoo session?

You can book a session via our website booking form or by email at info@patchtattoo.lv

Please include the following details in your message:

• Your idea and any reference photos

• The location on your body (a photo is helpful)

• The approximate size of the tattoo

• Your budget, if applicable

• The artist and preferred dates, if you already have them in mind

Once we receive your message, we’ll get back to you with pricing and available dates.

Do you offer consultations before booking?

Yes, we encourage a consultation for larger projects so we can discuss the design, placement, sessions, and budget.

For smaller designs, you can usually book straight away, but if you’d like, feel free to schedule a consultation to meet the artist and get a feel for the studio’s vibe.

Consultations are free of charge.

How much does a tattoo cost / how is pricing determined?

Pricing depends on the size, complexity, placement, and the artist you choose.

We work by hourly or day rate. The minimum for our resident artists is €80.

For apprentice work, we offer a reduced fixed price.

We’ll provide a quote after reviewing your reference.

What deposit or payment policy do you have?

We require a deposit to secure your appointment (this amount is deducted from your tattoo cost).

If you cancel or reschedule without at least 48 hours notice, the deposit may not be refunded.

Payment is made on the day of the session - cash or bank transfer accepted.

What should I bring / how should I prepare for my session?

• Be well-rested, hydrated, and have eaten something before your session.

• Wear comfortable, loose clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed.

If you’re unsure what to wear, feel free to contact us for advice and keep in mind that clothing may get stained with ink.

• Avoid alcohol or heavy medication 24 hours before your session.

• Feel free to bring a book, earphones, or a film if you’d like some distraction during the process.

• For long sessions, you might want to bring snacks or lunch for breaks - tea, coffee, and water are available at the studio.

What should I do if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Please give us at least 48 notice to reschedule. If you cancel or no-show without proper notice the deposit may be lost. We appreciate clear communication.

Do you have hygiene/sterilisation practices I should know about?

Yes, we maintain industry-standard sterilisation and hygiene protocols: single-use needles, properly cleaned and wrapped stations, disposal of sharps and used materials, good lighting, etc. Your safety is our priority.
